1. Things I learned and did today:
We listened to the funny English song "Lemon tree" and talked about phonetic phenomena in its text and learned how to differ English sounds "trap" and "dress" on the Internet site.

2. For today, my English speech has the following features of Russian accent:
I think I can't pronounce sentences in English with the right English intonation but not because I don't know the rules of pronunciation. I just used to speak with Russian accent in my school and I need to improve it.

3. I would give 5 points out of ten for my pronunciation today because as I mentioned above I have  falling Russian intonation and don't pronounce phrases emotionally enough. Also I often make some mistakes in pronunciation of English vowels and maybe some consonants. But to be honest I can't evaluate my pronunciation objectively and I need some comments of professional.

4. For today, English speech of my partner has the following features of Russian accent:
I think my partner doesn't consider some phonetic phenomena while she's reading text, e.g. linking r or aspiration. Actually I can say it only because in my opinion I do this quite well. As for pronunciation of sounds I can't say anything because I'm not sure that I pronounce them correctly.

5. I would give 8 points out of ten for my partner's pronunciation today because she confused English sound "trap" and "dress" while we were doing the task on the site (As I am) but in fact she speaks quite well.

6. Impressions for today's lesson:
I'm really excited with the lesson because I adore of music and particually English one so I was pleasantly surprised to hear that we need to learn it by heart as our hometask instead of the task like "Look these units in the copybook through and think about these rules". Also I liked the site which was represented us as an useful resourсe to learn phonetics.

7. To improve my pronunciation, I should do the following task at home:
I think I have to listen to the song "Lemon tree" and pay attention to the phenomena. Maybe I'll want to listen to some other English songs that can improve my pronunciation as well. Also I should to do some exercises on the site, e.g. to compare similar vowel sounds.
