                                                         Day: 15    Date: 26.04.2018

1. Things I learned and did today: Today we read exercises on consonant sounds  [θ], [ð], [s], [z].Then we had a small but thrilling contest between two groupes. The task was to recognize the words of passages from some popular English songs. We coped with the task not so well so we analyzed the passages and sang  them altogether. 

2. For today, my English speech has the following features of Russian accent:
in my opinion it was not so fluent speech.

3. I would give 9 points out of ten for my pronunciation today because it was quite  right and I made a few mistakes.

4. For today, English speech of my partner has the following features of Russian accent:

My partner sometimes made mistakes in reading of exercises and she spoke not fluently enough.

5. I would give 7 points out of ten for my partner's pronunciation today because her speech had some features of Russian accent.

6. Impressions for today's lesson:

Today's lesson surprised me a lot because I have never had such interesting tasks. It was rather difficult to recognize the words from the popular songs but it was really exciting. To be honest I didn't understand much but I liked it. It is  interesting experience!

7. To improve my pronunciation, I should do the following task at home:

I found out that my listening skills were not perfect. So I must do exercises to develop this skill. I'm going to listened to the podcasts on lingualeo.com and translate them.
